Spondi

Conversational AI for autoimmune symptoms

Year
2025
Spondi — still

Founded at MIT, Spondi was my primary project, which I built through workshops, labs, clubs, and hackathons. In 2025, I recruited a team to design and execute an alpha trial with spondylitis patients.

Bringing on technical advisors from Amazon Alexa and Moderna, we were able to develop a condensed conversational structure that cut latency and protected patient information.

As an AS patient myself, I coordinated with physicians, nutritionists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, coaches, and community leaders alike to develop a wider understanding of the care network available to patients, and then created a guide to help individuals find the resources that were relevant to them. On a personal level, Spondi helped me go from walking only a few blocks a day to rowing, cycling, and even running again.
